Jade : Junior Association for Development in Europe

JADE was founded in 1992, as an international non-profit and non-political organisation to promote entrepreneurship among Europe. It helps to set up new organisations and furthers the exchange of knowledge and management skills between its members. JADE has the mission to foster the development of the Junior Enterprises in Europe by implementing European projects and by providing the framework for cross-border co-operation on multinational studies.

The JADE Network organises several events per year that span from small working weeks & weekends in February, May and September to big international congresses in the Summer and Winter. They are organised to facilitate exchange of knowledge and experience, intercultural understanding.

Two programs have been made to help the Junior Enterprises :

The Enlargement Programme's goal is to establish Junior Enterprises in new countries by encouraging and supporting activities implemented by our members or other students.

An Exchange Programme promotes the mobility of students among Junior Enterprises within the JADE Network and between Europe and Brazil.

In 2004 - 2005, JADE had 9 members : UPN/JADE Netherlands, BDSU (Germany), JADE Italia, JADE Switzerland, JADE Austria, StudConsult (Norway), CEJE (Spain), JADE UK, JADE Portugal
and 3 consultative members :
ConQuest Consulting (Poland), YPI Consulting (Poland), SPG (Slovenia)

In Februray 2006, CNJE integrates JADE, as JADE France.
